Installation is straight-forward—with the proper tools, equipment, and install guide, and Unitronic has made it even more simple with its optional Install Kit, equipping you with all the service items and hardware you may need, especially if you're due for a gearbox service.
If you're interested in taking advantage of this upgrade, a Unitronic TCU Tune is required. You must either already own Unitronic TCU Performance Software, or purchase Unitronic TCU Performance Software (sold separately) together with this Unlocked TCU. Please provide Unitronic with your TCU ID, TCU Revision Number, and VIN at time of purchase in order for the Unitronic DQ381.2 Unlocked TCU to be setup for plug-n-play installation into your vehicle.
NOTE: When purchasing this upgrade, please be prepared to provide Unitronic with your TCU ID, TCU Revision, and VIN to ensure the unit can be properly configured for your specific vehicle.

WHY SWAP TO AN UNLOCKED TCU?
Some 2022 and many 2023+ vehicles built after 02/2022 were equipped with TCUs which have a locked "401" bootloader, previously limiting tuning options. Unitronic's Unlocked DQ381.2 TCU comes ready to plug-n-play into your vehicle with Unitronic's TCU Performance Software.
With the proper tools, equipment, and guidance, this TCU swap is straightforward for most. For added convenience, Unitronic also offers an optional Service Kit, which includes all necessary fluids and hardware needed to detach the TCU from the mechatronic unit and perform a gearbox service. At this stage, enthusiasts can also opt to replace the failure-prone plastic oil tubes with Unitronic's high-strength CNC machined Oil Tubes as well.
As part of Unitronic’s commitment to delivering thoroughly tested and reliable performance solutions, extensive field testing was conducted prior to this release. Special thanks to Unitronic Authorized Dealer, ACM Technik, for their assistance with validations throughout.
NOTE: Unitronic TCU Performance Software is required to use this unlocked TCU. You must have already purchased Unitronic TCU Performance Software, or purchase it alongside this upgrade. For new and existing ECU + TCU customers, DSG® Combo Discounts of up to $150 in SAVINGS are available.

SUPPORTING HARDWARE UPGRADES
For optimal performance and drivetrain stability, enthusiasts can upgrade to a Unitronic Street or Race DQ381 Dogbone Engine Mount. Designed to eliminate the slop present in factory-style mounts, these kits are built to withstand the forces encountered during hard launches and aggressive driving — whether on the street, drag strip, or road course. The result is reduced wheel hop, crisper shifts, and improved overall control, all while maintaining comfortable levels of NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) for daily use.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Unitronic recommends reviewing the full installation guide ahead of time to get familiar with the process, tools, and components involved in performing this TCU upgrade. While installation is straightforward for experienced enthusiasts, professional installation is still recommended.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Book with obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at amtuning.ca@outlook.com labelled as “Defective Item”
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
