With the interest of tuning the VAG 1.0 TSI engines growing ever more, Forge Motorsport's R&D department has designed another product to extract extra power. The product in question is our enlarged turbo elbow. The OEM part’s design requirements are a balance between performance, efficiency, and refinement. Here at Forge Motorsport, we have concentrated on the performance aspect of the product, which has been achieved by removing the internal restrictions then enlarging and smoothing out the pathway to the turbo.
Several different designs and material choices were tested until we arrived with the product you see here. The construction of FMTIA13 is manufactured from reinforced multi ply silicone which is more durable than the OEM plastic pipe and it wont suffer from heat soak like a metallic product can. With its enlarged capacity and less restrictive surface area it routes air directly into your turbo charger and allows a greater volume of air to be compressed, this has a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or in between gear changes due to more air being kept within the inlet tract to the turbo charger.
This is a product which is essential when tuning the 1.0 TSI engine (DLAA, DLA) as it was an area where we saw positive gains when tuning the previous generation VAG 1.0 TSI. On a tuned vehicle we would expect to see consistent gains of 3-5 bhpƒ??depending on the vehicles state of tune.
This is a straightforward yet very effective power increasing modification that can be fitted with basic tools and has a typical installation time of around 30 minutes. As with all Forge Motorsport products itƒ??includes a full set of comprehensive installation instructions to make fitting as straightforward as possible.
Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund. If your original order qualified for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will still be deducted from your refund.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund. If your original order qualified for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will still be deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@amtuning.ca.
