The MMX RP650 Performance Front Brake Pads are MMX's fast-road compound for the G8X M-car family, the same medium aramid-fibre compound proven on the F-chassis cars, now sized to drop directly into the OEM front caliper of G87 M2, G80/G81 M3, and G82/G83 M4. Engineered as a no-compromise upgrade for owners who want a meaningful step up in fade resistance and high-temperature stability versus the OEM front pad, without sacrificing the cold-bite, low-noise, and low-dust manners that make a pad genuinely usable as a daily driver.
The compound runs at a 0.42μ friction coefficient across the 450°C–650°C operating window. Full braking force is available from cold, no warm-up period required. Through repeated heavy braking events the compound maintains near-zero fade and consistent friction characteristics, giving a progressive pedal feel at the kind of pace where OEM pads start to disappear. The shimmed, slotted, and chamfered pad construction keeps daily-driving NVH low and braking smooth.
ECE-R90 certification covers cold performance, speed, sensitivity, friction behaviour, compressibility, shear, and hardness, fully road-legal and insurance-compliant in the UK and EU jurisdictions where that homologation matters. Bedding-in either follows the recommended 10-stop procedure (60mph–10mph rolling stops, no full halts) or happens naturally over the first 100–200 miles of urban driving.
This is the front-axle complement to MMR27-1602-R rear pads, and pairs with the MMX 2-Piece 380mm Floating Front Rotor (MMR30-1601-F) for a complete fast-road brake upgrade on G8X iron-rotor cars. For G80 M3 CS, G82 M4 Competition Heritage, and G82 M4 CSL owners running OEM iron front rotors, the RP650 is the recommended fast-road compound from MMX.

- Designed for G8X iron-brake cars. Carbon Ceramic Brake (CCB) cars require a separate CCB-specific pad (e.g., Pagid RSL29, MMR27-1610-F). Please contact us before ordering if your car is CCB-equipped.

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund. If your original order qualified for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will still be deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@amtuning.ca.

Non-refundable items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased: oils, fuel or oil additives, filters, tuning cables, OBDeleven products, Braum seats, spark plugs, coil packs, and similar consumable, wheel spacers, wheels bolts, license plate brackets, electronic tuning components and any other product subject to discretion of AM Tuning Canada.
Other products from brands such as MHD, Bootmod3, Ecutek, Braum racing, Novitec are also non-refundable and non-returnable.
All sales of these items are final and are subject to the policies and discretion of AM Tuning. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
