The MMX Performance G8X M2 / M3 / M4 Carbon Fiber Intake is a complete induction system developed specifically for BMW's S58-powered G8X platform. Designed for the BMW G87 M2, G80 / G81 M3, and G82 / G83 M4, the system replaces the factory air boxes and intake tract with hand-laid 3K twill carbon fiber components engineered to increase filter surface area and airflow while delivering a more engaging induction sound.
Performance begins with a substantial increase in available filter area. The MMX intake provides 49% more filter surface area compared to the factory system, allowing the S58's twin turbochargers to draw through a larger filtration area. MMX also increased airflow volume through the intake pipe system by an average of 23% compared to the factory components. The crossover pipe delivers a 38% increase in airflow volume, while the turbo-side pipe provides a 7% increase.
These improvements to the intake path are designed to deliver sharper throttle response and improved turbo spool by reducing restrictions ahead of the turbochargers. The revised air boxes and filtration also make the S58's induction sound more pronounced, adding character under acceleration while maintaining the everyday drivability expected from the G8X platform.
Every intake is hand-laid using 3K twill carbon fiber with zero fiberglass incorporated into the layup. Beyond the visual improvement within the engine bay, the full carbon construction creates a smoother internal surface designed to reduce turbulence and provide a cleaner airflow path into the engine. The system is available in either Gloss or Matte carbon fiber, with both finishes manufactured using the same full carbon construction.
The complete dual-intake configuration includes carbon fiber air boxes, carbon intake pipes, performance cone filters, and installation hardware. Hardware components are precision-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum for strength, durability, and a premium finish. The complete system installs as a straightforward bolt-on upgrade using the factory mounting locations with no permanent vehicle modifications required.
For vehicles receiving additional intake-side upgrades, the MMX Carbon Fiber Intake can also be paired with the MMX Performance S58 Turbo Inlet Elbow Set to further upgrade the induction path between the intake system and the S58's twin turbochargers.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund. If your original order qualified for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will still be deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@amtuning.ca.

Non-refundable items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased: oils, fuel or oil additives, filters, tuning cables, OBDeleven products, Braum seats, spark plugs, coil packs, and similar consumable, wheel spacers, wheels bolts, license plate brackets, electronic tuning components and any other product subject to discretion of AM Tuning Canada.
Other products from brands such as MHD, Bootmod3, Ecutek, Braum racing, Novitec are also non-refundable and non-returnable.
All sales of these items are final and are subject to the policies and discretion of AM Tuning. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
