The MMX Wheel Stud Kit (Ball Seat) replaces the factory BMW wheel bolts with a precision-engineered stud-and-nut conversion designed specifically for BMW vehicles running aftermarket wheels with a ball-seat lug-bore profile. The conversion delivers faster, more accurate wheel installations, eliminates cross-threading risk during repeat wheel changes, and provides a stronger, more visually consistent wheel-mounting interface than the OEM bolt system.
Each stud is machined from heat-treated high-carbon steel, finished in chrome, and cut with a precise M14 x 1.25 thread to match the OEM hub thread on F-Series, G-Series, and current MINI vehicles. An internal 6mm allen drive at the hub end allows accurate, controlled installation torque, while a knurled outer collar gives finger-grip alignment when mounting wheels, making single-person wheel installation faster and safer. An 8mm unthreaded shank between the hub and the nut thread provides clearance for the brake disc and hat. Each stud is rated to support vehicles up to 2,500 kg and exceeds the shear strength of the OEM bolt.
The matching open-ended lug nuts are machined from lightweight 7000-series aluminum, finished in midnight-black gloss anodise, and feature a 19mm oversize hex head for greater surface area than the 17mm OEM bolt head, significantly reducing the risk of stripping under repeated wheel changes. The ball-seat profile is engineered to match aftermarket wheels with a spherical lug bore (commonly found on certain OZ Racing and BBS wheels and select replicas).
Two stud lengths are offered: 70mm for installations with no spacers (or up to 10mm of spacer), and 80mm for 10mm to 20mm spacer applications. Both lengths share identical thread, knurled collar, and allen-drive specifications.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.
