To complement the strength of our iE Tuscan I-Beam connecting rods for the Audi B9 3.0T EA839 engine, we have collaborated with the experts at JE Pistons to produce an equally robust forged piston set. Combination tested for up to 1000ft-lbs of torque, your iE connecting rod and JE Piston combo will offer unparalleled bottom-end strength for your high-boost build.

OPTIMIZED COMPRESSION RATIO
Extensive in-house testing has revealed that the factory piston compression ratio in the EA839 3.0T engine is susceptible to excessive knock in very large turbo/high-boost builds. In response, we have custom spec our own lowered 10:1 compression ratio. This compression has proven to reduce cylinder pressures safely without going so low to affect engine responsiveness. This compression ratio will also work well with the complexity and precision of the direct injection system when tuning your large turbo high-boost build.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE PISTON
JE has manufactured a strong, light piston forging for extreme operating conditions in high-powered, high-boost, and professional motorsport competition. This high-performance alloy is suited for iE connecting rods, tolerating acceleration forces of more than 8000 Gs and directional changes exceeding 200 times a second! The piston dish and dome design have been specifically engineered for the Audi B9 turbocharged 3.0L engine, with special care taken to provide properly placed valve reliefs for smooth-flowing combustion characteristics.
LEADING QUALITY CONTROL
JE Pistons is a leader in piston manufacturing and quality control. Each piston forging is verified in a dedicated manufacturing cell, resulting in tighter tolerances in 14 critical areas. An in-depth 23-point quality inspection is performed in an environmentally controlled lab maintained at 68 degrees with 40% relative humidity. This ensures consistent and exact measurements and guarantees dimensional conformity.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.

Non-refundable items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased: oils, fuel or oil additives, filters, tuning cables, OBDeleven products, Braum seats, spark plugs, coil packs, and similar consumable, wheel spacers, wheels bolts, license plate brackets, electronic tuning components and any other product subject to discretion of AM Tuning Canada.
Other products from brands such as MHD, Bootmod3, Ecutek, Braum racing, Novitec are also non-refundable and non-returnable.
All sales of these items are final and are subject to the policies and discretion of AM Tuning. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
