The original covers are known to degrade over time, with failures ranging from cracking and loosening to complete separation, an issue that can result in severe internal engine damage if left unaddressed.

BMW does not offer these covers as individual service components, which means replacing the entire VANOS assembly when a failure occurs. The Evolve Automotive kit directly replaces the OEM plastic parts without compromising factory functionality, making it a preventative upgrade rather than a repair.

Developed in collaboration with Mr. Vanos, the kit is CNC machined from high-strength T6082 aluminum to eliminate the risk of material failure. The covers fully enclose the internal springs, preserving OEM-style protection, and a black anodized finish adds corrosion resistance and a clean, factory-appropriate appearance. The kit is designed and manufactured in the UK.

Product Details

CNC machined from T6082 aluminum

Anodized black finish for durability and corrosion resistance

Direct replacement for the OEM plastic VANOS covers

Fully enclosed design with no exposed internal springs

Designed and manufactured in the UK
