bmw-e46-m3-csl-oem-hella-intake-air-temp-sensor
BMW E46 M3 CSL OEM Hella Intake Air Temp Sensor

This Genuine BMW OEM Intake Air Temperature Sensor; manufactured by Hella, BMW's OE supplier; is an essential component for any E46 M3 running a CSL-style carbon fiber airbox. When converting to a CSL airbox layout, the factory mass airflow sensor is no longer compatible; the system instead relies on a dedicated IAT sensor plugged into the OE sensor port on the carbon airbox. This part ensures the engine management system receives accurate intake air temperature data for correct fuel mapping and reliable operation.

Built to OEM specification by Hella, the sensor features a pre-installed O-ring for a leak-free seal and is designed to withstand the heat cycles and vibration demands of performance driving. It is a direct, no-modification fitment for any CSL-spec carbon airbox that retains the OE IAT sensor port; including OEM BMW CSL airboxes and compatible aftermarket equivalents.

Product Details

OEM Hella intake air temperature sensor for BMW E46 M3 CSL airbox conversions

Plugs directly into the OE IAT sensor port on CSL-style carbon fiber airboxes

Includes pre-installed O-ring for a secure, leak-free installation

Direct replacement for the IAT sensor; no modification required

BMW Part Number: 13629899008
