PROFILE
The ARM Mercedes AMG GT Charge Pipes are a full replacement charge pipe kit for the C190 M178 4.0L twin-turbo V8, built from 6-layer reinforced high temperature silicone with precision CNC machined adapters and integrated methanol injection ports. The kit covers both sides of the twin-turbo system and fits the AMG GT, GTS, GTC, GTR, and GTR Pro on the C190 chassis.
The factory charge pipes on the C190 AMG GT are a known weak point on the M178 platform. The OEM units are prone to failure under elevated boost on tuned builds, and offer no provisions for methanol injection. The ARM C190 Charge Pipes replace both OEM charge pipes with 6-layer reinforced high temperature silicone sized for unrestricted airflow across the full C190 trim range, from the AMG GT to the GTR Pro, with a direct-fit installation that requires no cutting or modification to the factory system.
CONSTRUCTION
The OEM C190 charge pipes are built from standard rubber that degrades over time under the heat cycles and boost pressures of the M178 twin-turbo V8. The ARM charge pipes replace both units with 6-layer reinforced high temperature silicone, which maintains its shape, flexibility, and seal integrity under sustained boost and elevated underhood temperatures where the factory materials are known to fail. The result is a charge path that stays consistent and leak-free regardless of how hard or how often you drive.
Pipe sizing is matched to the M178's flow requirements: 86mm ID at the intercooler side to handle the full volume of charged air exiting both intercooler cores, stepping down to 60mm ID at the turbo outlet side to match the factory turbo outlets on both banks. Every coupling is secured with a stainless hose clamp for a rattle-free, leak-free connection at every point in the system.
Each pipe connects via a precision CNC machined adapter, eliminating the flex and micro-movement at coupling points that contribute to boost leaks on the factory units. The adapters include integrated methanol injection ports on both sides, purpose-built for running a methanol injection system without teeing into the charge path or adding aftermarket fittings that can restrict flow or introduce leak points.
For C190 owners running methanol injection, the integrated ports on the ARM charge pipes allow each nozzle to be positioned directly in the charge stream on both banks, delivering a fine atomized mist of methanol into the intake charge immediately after each turbo. This dramatically lowers charge air temperatures before the air reaches the intercoolers and intake manifold, reducing heat soak, suppressing knock, and allowing your tune to take full advantage of the available airflow. Methanol injection is one of the most effective supporting modifications on a tuned M178, and the ARM charge pipes make it a clean, direct installation.

Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All items are subject to 15% restocking fee from the manufacturer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping to you will be deducted from your refund. If your original order qualified for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will still be deducted from your refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@amtuning.ca.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Labor Fees (if applicable)
AM Tuning Canada is not responsible for, and shall not be liable for, any labor fees, installation charges, removal charges, diagnostic fees, or other service-related costs incurred by the customer or any third party in connection with the installation, removal, modification, servicing, or use of any products purchased from AM Tuning Canada. Unless expressly agreed to in writing by AM Tuning Canada, all such labor and service costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Non-refundable items
The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased: oils, fuel or oil additives, filters, tuning cables, OBDeleven products, Braum seats, spark plugs, coil packs, and similar consumable, wheel spacers, wheels bolts, license plate brackets, electronic tuning components and any other product subject to discretion of AM Tuning Canada.
Other products from brands such as MHD, Bootmod3, Ecutek, Braum racing, Novitec are also non-refundable and non-returnable.
All sales of these items are final and are subject to the policies and discretion of AM Tuning. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
